Election of the Chair and Vice Chair

The clerk called for nominations of the Chair. Colleen Goupil was nominated and acclaimed as Chair.

The clerk called for nominations of the Vice-Chair. Marc Proulx was nominated and acclaimed as Vice-Chair.

No declaration of pecuniary interest was made regarding items appearing on the agenda.

2025 Accessibility Education Campaign [Financial Impact: $10,000], 2025-53

Heather Carvalho, Manager of Communications and Community Engagement, appeared before committee to give an overview of the report and respond to questions of committee.

  1. THAT Report No. 2025-53 regarding the City of Brantford Accessibility Education Campaign BE RECEIVED; and
  2. THAT the 2025 Accessibility Education Campaign be APPROVED; and
  3. THAT the release of funds in the amount of $10,000 from the Council Reserve Fund for the implementation of the campaign BE APPROVED.
