Chair Goupil called the meeting to order and roll call was confirmed.

2025 City of Brantford Accessibility Award Nominees [Financial Impact - None], 2025-153

Maria Visocchi, Director, Communications, Community Engagement and Customer Service, appeared before committee to give an overview of the report and respond to questions of committee.

  1. That the report regarding the 2025 City Brantford Accessibility Awards be received; and
  2. THAT the 2025 Accessibility Awards Program Nominees as outlined below BE APPROVED:
     1. Greg Wilson; and
     2. Andrew Nielsen; and
     3. Harmony United Church;
  3. THAT the 2025 Accessibility Awards Program City of Brantford staff nominees as outlined below BE APPROVED for acknowledgement:
     1. Spencer Moore; and
     2. Christian Bean; and
     3. City of Brantford Traffic Department;
  4. THAT the approved 2025 Accessibility Awards Program awardees and those being acknowledged be officially recognized at the City of Brantford City Council Meeting on May 27, 2025.
