5.1

Homelessness Prevention Program 2023-24 Investment Plan [Financial Impact: None], 2023-360

• 1. THAT Report 2023-360 Homelessness Prevention Program 2023-24 Investment Plan BE RECEIVED; and
  2. THAT the Homelessness Prevention Program 2023-24 Investment Plan outlined in this report BE APPROVED; and
  3. THAT the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) or Designate, BE AUTHORIZED AND DIRECTED to execute a Transfer Payment Agreement between The Corporation of the City of Brantford and His Majesty the King in right of Ontario as represented by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, and any ancillary documents thereto, in a form approved by the City Solicitor; and
  4. THAT the Director of Housing and Homelessness Services BE AUTHORIZED to reallocate capital and operating dollars within the funding streams as may be necessary to facilitate total expenditures of the Homelessness Prevention Program funding allocations; and
  5. THAT the Director of Housing and Homelessness Services BE AUTHORIZED to revise or add capital projects for funding from Homelessness Prevention Program funding, as may be needed, to ensure full expenditure of the allocations; and
  6. THAT the City Clerk BE DIRECTED to forward a copy of the final resolution and staff report to the County of Brant.

Reaching Home Update Report [Financial Impact: None] , 2023-330

• 1. THAT Report 2023-330 Reaching Home Update Report BE RECEIVED; and;
  2. THAT staff BE DIRECTED to implement the recommendations as listed in 2023-24 Reaching Home Investment Plan; and
  3. THAT the City Clerk BE DIRECTED to forward a copy of the final resolution and staff report to the County of Brant.

Reallocation of Capital Funds for 2023 Capital Projects [Financial Impact: $59,257 returned to reserve] , 2023-374

• 1. THAT Report 2023-374, Reallocation of Capital Funds for 2023 Capital Projects BE RECEIVED; and
  2. THAT staff BE DIRECTED to reallocate approved Capital Funding for Project SS2202, Brant/Lorne Towers Additional Parking to fund additional work required for Projects SS2207, Lorne Towers Plumbing and SS2302, Brant Towers Plumbing as outlined in Table 1; and
  3. THAT staff BE DIRECTED to reallocate approved Capital Funding for Projects SS2209, Dalesview Electric Service and Wiring, and SS2214 Winston Court Electrical to fund the conversion of the existing Andover security and access systems to the Genetec security and access system at various housing locations as outlined in Table 1; and
  4. THAT the City Clerk BE DIRECTED to forward a copy of the final resolution and staff report to the County of Brant.
